Not HiringExperienced professionals aren't the only workers struggling to find jobs. In July, 51.1 percent of Americans between the ages of 16 and 24 years old were unemployed, according to new data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This marks the first time since 1948, when the government first started collecting this data, that less than half of all U.S. youth were employed in July.

 Boarded up houseCurrent estimates say that there are approximately 3.5 million homeless Americans. There are also 18.9 million vacant homes. That means that for every homeless person in America there are 5 empty houses. Neglected homes are at best a waste of resources and at worst immoral in the face of a homeless population larger than Connecticut.

Awakening Me

The past week has been incredible and more God filled than I could ever imagine. From Monday to Friday all squads that are out on The World Race got together for an event called the Awakening. We were led in worship by Jonathan David Helser and his lovely wife Melissa. God is using them in a big way. Three times a day we had sessions from a few different speakers. Through the worship, speakers and my squadmates God has been confirming things that He has been trying to show me

Another Day, Another Continent

We successfully made it to Europe.  I took a walk by myself the other day (which in and of itself was a huge victory since I haven't been able to go anywhere alone in three months) and I was thinking about how at peace I feel here in Ireland.  I definitely feel different here than I did in Africa.  The more I thought about it though, the more I was okay with the fact that my spirit wasn't necessarily at peace in Africa, because Africa is not at peace.  It is a land charac
